BTS Fans Express Strong Outrage Against Min Heejin

On September 16, BTS’ fanbase, ARMY, made a clear statement opposing the return of Min Heejin, former CEO of ADOR, a subsidiary of HYBE. This movement quickly gained attention on social media, especially on X (formerly Twitter). Hashtags like #MinHeeJinOut#ARMYsWantMHJOut, and #Dont_Use_BTS_and_ARMY began trending worldwide. These hashtags topped real-time trends in North America, parts of Southeast Asia, the UK, and Germany.

ARMY’s Stance Against Min Heejin

ARMY expressed concerns about the decisions affecting BTS. They highlighted their frustration with the spread of misinformation related to their fandom.

“As members of the BTS ARMY community, we see false stories being shared in our name. Through this statement, we aim to clarify our position on the current management situation,” the fandom stated.

They continued, “First, we strongly oppose Min Heejin’s return as the CEO of ADOR, HYBE’s subsidiary. We know about her previous actions during BTS’ military service. These include consulting with a shaman to harm BTS and manipulating the Korean media to spread negative opinions about BTS and ARMY.” They emphasized that any media narrative supporting Min Heejin’s return is unfounded and part of her agenda.

BTS’ Freedom of Expression

ARMY also expressed concerns about BTS’ ability to speak freely about these issues. “We know BTS is not in a position to openly express their opinions right now. This only strengthens our resolve. We urge Min Heejin to stop using BTS and ARMY as a shield for her personal agenda and falsehoods,” they stressed.

Background on Min Heejin’s Controversies

Min Heejin has faced several controversies recently. On April 25, HYBE filed a lawsuit against her, accusing her of breach of duty. Despite these conflicts, Min was dismissed as ADOR’s CEO on August 27, and Kim Ju-young, an expert in human resources, replaced her. However, Min Heejin filed for a temporary shareholders’ meeting on September 13. She also applied for reinstatement as an internal director of ADOR.

ARMY’s response has sparked intense discussions online, with many fans standing firmly against Min Heejin’s return.
